Pickaweb Web Hosting - Video Presenters

Pickaweb.co.uk have been providing UK web hosting services since 2000. They pride themselves on being able to offer reliable and cheap web hosting. They also offer a range of other internet services which includes web design packages, 0800 numbers, eCommerce, domain registration and a whole host of web builder tools and affiliate programs.

They came to us looking to update their virtual avatars which were situated right across the website. Horrible, mechanical things those virtual presenter avatars. Anyhow, Budget Videos have significantly reduced the cost of having live presenters on your website so it came as no surprise that Pickaweb wanted to replace all 9 of their avatars for Video Presenters.

They provided the scripts themselves and picked 3 of our presenters from our extensive collection. Along the way we mocked up the bespoke flash based interective video player to the required Pickaweb standard and we were away.

TaxAssist Accountants Franchise Video

Tax Assist Accountants operate the UK's largest franchise of independent accountants. They wanted to talk directly to potential franchisors who visited their website with a corporate video production and through it convey the most important aspects of their franchise business in an easily digestable format. Hence the use of an online video production. In just 99 seconds the viewer hears about the business, the opportunity and is advised how to properly investigate the opportunity and get in touch.

We worked with TaxAssist Accountants to define the best approach that would fit in with their online strategy and then led the entire corporate video production and implementation. This included script writing, presenters, filming, editing, post-production and online interactivity.

From a technical perspective, due to the expanding nature of the Tax assist website the video display was optimised for the most popular screen size 1024x768px. The end result was a clear and concise corporate video message positively geared towards the success of of the franchise with the aesthetic fitting comfortably onto the homepage.
